The short version
We collect the information we need to run shrinQ and to respond to you. We do not sell your personal information. The interactive tools on this site do most of their work in your browser. The sections below explain what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us, such as your email address when you sign up for updates, and any message or feedback you send us.
- Account and purchase information, handled by the program platform when you buy or log in to shrinQ.
- Entries you type into the interactive tools. These are primarily processed in your browser to show you a result and are not required to be sent to us to use the tool.
- Basic technical and usage information, such as device and browser type, page views, and referrer, collected through Plausible (cookieless) and, if you consent, Google Analytics (cookie-based). Details are in the Analytics section below.
How we use information
- To operate shrinQ, including providing access to the program.
- To send the follow-up email series if you opt in, and to respond when you contact us.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
Service providers we share information with
We use trusted third parties to run parts of shrinQ. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
- An email platform, such as MailerLite, to manage the email list and send updates.
- A program platform, such as Teachable, to handle checkout, accounts, and program access.
- Google reCAPTCHA, to protect forms from spam and abuse, which is subject to Google's privacy policy and terms.
- Plausible Analytics, a cookieless analytics provider, to understand aggregate site usage.
- Google Analytics (GA4), a cookie-based analytics provider, which runs only if you consent.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to remember your preferences (including your analytics choice), to protect forms through reCAPTCHA, and for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Analytics
We use two analytics services with different privacy postures. The first is Plausible. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites. It runs on every page. The second is Google Analytics (GA4). Google Analytics uses cookies and can collect device, browser, page, referrer, and coarse location data. Google Analytics only runs after you accept it on the cookie banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, the Google tag stays loaded but is held in a consent- denied state and no analytics cookies are set.
We ask Google Analytics to anonymize IP addresses, and we do not enable advertising features, remarketing, or Google Signals. Your analytics choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key shrinq_consent_v1. Clearing your browser storage will reset the choice and the banner will appear again.

How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here, such as while you are subscribed to updates or have access to the program, and as required for legal, accounting, or security reasons. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. To make a request, email [email protected].
Children
shrinQ is intended for adults eighteen and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International readers
shrinQ is operated from the United States, and information may be processed there. If you access shrinQ from another country, please also read our information for international readers.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and our practices change. We will revise the date above when we do.
